AdiCell Overview
Regeneus has developed an advanced autologous cell procedure, known as AdiCell, which uses an animal’s own natural regeneration system to heal painful arthritic joints and/or tendons. Unlike major surgery, it is a minimally invasive, one-day procedure and involves implanting cells into affected joints and/or tendons. AdiCell has demonstrated remarkable results in the animals treated so far, with the increase in mobility and the concurrent reduction in pain and inflammation mirroring results obtained in scientific literature.
Since March 2008, Regeneus and their veterinary partners have treated over 400 animals with osteoarthritis/tendonitis. Most of these have been dogs, with some cats, some horses, and one snow leopard.
In the video below, Dr Katrina Warren and Professor Ben Herbert discuss the AdiCell treatment and dog owners comment on the the benefits of the treatment for their pets.
